Mercy Chinwo is a popularly known Nigerian singer & song writer. She is a unique artist with a unique grace who is known for her soft voice that Christians all over the world have been touched by.

She is also widely known for her hit single: 

"Excess love"(2018). 

This song earned her national and international recognition and also sealed her status as one of the best vocalists in the Nigerian Gospel Ministry.

Background & Personal Life

Mercy Chinwo also known as Mercy Nnenda Chinwo was born on the 5th September 1990. She is the first child and the first daughter of six children in her family.

She was brought up by her mother after she lost her dad during her early stages of life. This Nigerian Gospel Artiste hails from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Journey Into Ministry

Mercy Chinwo started from the children's choir at age 8. Subsequently, she moved into the adult choir and became the music direcctor of her local church. She was also lending her angelic voice to other Gospel Ministers like Sammie Okposo, Joe Praise, Buchi and Chris Morgan. 

Later on, she began to participate  in musical competitions until she found Nigerian Idol. Eventually, she emerged winner in the Season 2 of the Nigerian Talent Show and finally came to limelight. 

In 2015, she released her debut single Testimony(2015) and subsequently Igwe(2016). On February 20 2018,Mercy Chinwo released her debut studio album; The Cross: My Gaze. The 16 track gospel songs was released by EeZee Conceptz under Dixtrit Media. Since then, Mercy has continued to release soul lifting worship songs.
