Tim Godfrey, the renowned gospel music artist, is the second son among six siblings, born and raised on August 26, 1979, in Kaduna State, Nigeria. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Godfrey, have played a significant role in shaping his life and career.
Tim tied the knot with his beloved on 23 April 2022, in Culpeper, VA, United States, after getting engaged on 9 January 2022. They also had a traditional wedding ceremony in June 2022. Their joy expanded with the arrival of their daughter, Reign Amara Munachi Godfrey, born in February 2023. Additionally, Tim has a son named Bryan, who celebrated his 15th birthday in July 2023, with Yemisi Ashaolu as his mother.
Before pursuing his higher education at Trinity International University of Ambassadors in Georgia, USA, Tim completed his primary and secondary education in Kaduna. In 2018, he achieved a doctorate in Fine Art and Musicology, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence.
Despite being originally from Kaduna, Tim Godfrey's ancestral roots trace back to Abia State, highlighting the diverse cultural background that enriches his identity and music.
