My BestFriend

INTRODUCTION

I'm sure a large number of us have a best friend or best friends 🤗...... however it is for you. 

You know that one person or people who know (s) almost everything about you if not everything 😂. You guys are always together but it may not be all the time due to school and some other barriers but when you have a chance; you're always on sight 😂👭🏻, always communicating and he/she always has the latest updates if you know what I mean 😂🤲🏻. He/she is seen like a sister or brother from another mother 😫❤️......you can tell each other anything.

It's so beautiful to have such relationships with people but guess what?🤭. There's someone else who's even better than that best friend that you have and that person is the HOLY SPIRIT!!!. Yes!, That's His name.

   Let me introduce Him to you because he's my no. 1 best friend. He's the third person in the Trinity and He's the one doing Abba's work here on earth. He's everywhere you go but it's just that we get too carried away to notice Him🤧💔. That's all the introduction I have for now, when you begin to walk with Him, He'd reveal Himself better 🤗.

   The Holy Spirit is the greatest BFF you can ever have🥺. He takes note over every detail of your life:

   So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. 

Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. [Romans 12:1‭-‬2 MSG].

   You know this verse says so much about How He acts......He cares about you and every single detail. He knows before you even act and He wants you to trust Him enough to tell Him anything. 

   A few days ago, something happened to me: 

Let me rewind to 2 weeks back, the Holy Spirit gave me an instruction. I doubted Him at first and I just neglected it because I just felt it was my imagination that was running wild. He asked me to let go of someone who was my really good friend but I refused. 

I was having issues with the person but I didn't say it out and I was so troubled. I just sat down and asked Him for direction. I was lead to get a book to read to take my mind off those issues then I saw a book a friend of mine gave me like 5 months ago 😂💔 and I opened the book. I don't like novels or stories but it was like my life was played out in that book 😂. I was shocked......I knew the instruction was clear and He gave me the book as a guide but I didn't yield😂. 

That same friend sent another book to me and believe me, it was the same thing but had some extra revelations 😂✨. I was so troubled because it was going to hurt me so much and the person that I was to let go of but I obeyed. I won't deny, I cried but honestly, the Holy Spirit was there to comfort me 🥺😂. It may sound funny but you don't understand the kind of peace and relief I felt after I asked him to help me heal from the hurt I was experiencing.

   I told Him how I felt then He referred me to a scripture and He used another friend to talk to me and I felt better 🤗🤭😫❤️

   So what am I saying in essence? 

He can be that intimate and close to you only if you allow Him. He's there to help, to direct you and to comfort you. That's why after Jesus left the world, He came around.

   Stop being around friends who won't help your life and let the Holy Spirit be your no.1 priority. He will go as far as chosing your friends for you. All you have to do is to all Him and surrender totally to Him. There's nothing you can't find in Him. Is it peace?, Is it love?, Is it help?......He has it all so just Stop being around friends who won't help your life and let the Holy Spirit be your no.1 priority. He will go as far as chosing your friends for you.

 He wants intimacy, He wants fellowship, He wants communion. Don't push Him to the back stage, that's where many believers miss it. 

He has been approved by God so what more?.

Also, please if you're in a relationship that doesn't glorify God or He hasn't approved of it..... whether best friend, boyfriend or even a close friend relationship, please don't hesitate to walk away and before you do so, ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom to do it. 

He always has your interest at heart and He knows what's best for you.....it may not be easy to let go in the beginning but He's right there with you every step by the way 🤗

 Dwell on these words and just say these words aloud:

   Spirit of God, I acknowledge you. I worship and reverence you. I believe you are God but in Spirit. You said in your word that they that will worship God must worship in Spirit and in truth so I connect my spirit with yours. Be my best friend and the Lord over my life. Let my life bring worship to you and you alone, Amen.
